- 1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand works fine!)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Season the steaks – Rub them with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Sear the steaks – Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear each steak for 2-3 minutes per side.
- Bake it off – Brush with BBQ sauce and bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Rest before serving – Let the steaks rest for about 5 minutes to lock in all those juices.
Notes
- Choose the right cut – Look for steaks with good marbling. Fat = flavor!
- Don’t overcook – Pork steak should be cooked to an internal temp of 145°F.
- Rest your meat – Always let your steaks rest for 5-10 minutes before cutting.
- Experiment with flavors – From Cajun rubs to sweet-and-spicy glazes, pork steak is a blank canvas.
- Use a meat thermometer – This will save you from the heartbreak of dry pork.
